Sahara desert adventure

Over our 10 years together, we’ve had some incredible adventures. Now we want to bring you all along for one after we celebrate our nupituals. This is an optional 3 day adventure into the Sahara Desert. It will include, among other things, glamping in the dunes, riding camels, and a visit to Ait ben Heddou, as seen in the Oddyssey and Game of Thrones. We will plan everything, and the cost per person will be around $250, covering food, transport, accomodation and activities. Please complete the survey below by January 14th, 2027 to secure your spot on this adventure!

Day 1 - June 1st

Marrakech → Dades Valley
  • Drive across the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n’Tichka Pass
  • Visit Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site
  • Lunch stop
  • Overnight in Dades Valley

Day 2 - June 2nd

Dades → Merzouga Desert
  • Visit the impressive Todra Gorge
  • Lunch stop
  • Sunset camel ride into the dunes
  • Sandboarding
  • Traditional Moroccan dinner
  • Berber drumming, music and stargazing
  • Overnight in luxury tents

Day 3 - June 3rd

Merzouga → Marrakech
  • Breakfast at the camp
  • Drive back to Marrakech with photo stops and a lunch break
  • Arrival in the early evening

Please complete the Sahara desert survey by January 14th to let us know if you will be attending the post-wedding excursion. Note that this is separate from your wedding RSVP.
